Washington House

This is a painting of The Washington House, an old inn in Sellersville Pa. which now serves as a restaurant  and night club for the area.  I painted this from a photograph in 2002.

Red Barn

I painted this plein air watercolor on-site at Towering Rocks Farm, located in Tohickon, PA, in the summer of 2007.  I was with a group of artists led by Ed Letven (link).

Manoir d' Hautegente

This painting of Manoir d' Hautegente, located in the heart of Perigord Noir, France, is done in watercolor,  and was completed in November 2007.  My daughter stayed at this wonderful country inn one night on her country walking tour of France in August 2007.  She asked me to paint this scene from a photograph she took, and it was a good exercise in recreating the effect of a reflection on a body of water.
